How to test your mouse

  1. Press each button in the test area. The matching counter should go up by one per click.
  2. If one click adds two to the counter and you did not double-click, the switch may be failing (double-click bug).
  3. Scroll the wheel up and down; both counters should move smoothly.

FAQ

My mouse double-clicks by itself. What now?

That usually means a worn microswitch. Try another USB port and another computer; if it persists, the mouse likely needs repair or replacement.

Do side buttons work?

Browsers report the back and forward buttons as navigation actions; they are shown in the click log when the browser exposes them.

What is a good CPS?

Most people click 5–7 times per second with a normal click. Faster results usually come from jitter or butterfly clicking techniques.
